About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, people-focused Front Desk / Medical Assistant to join our Doral, FL team. This is an on-site, in-person position based at our Doral location. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients and a key support to our clinical research team — balancing front desk operations with hands-on clinical tasks and administrative support. What You'll Do
- Greet and check in patients, manage front desk operations, schedule appointments, and answer incoming calls, taking messages and redirecting calls as needed
- Assist patients with sign-in and sign-out procedures and completion of the Informed Consent Form (ICF)
- Assist coordinators (CRCs) and investigators with patient flow, daily visit preparation, and other study-related activities
- Prescreen candidates and screen electronic medical records (EMR) to identify and assess eligibility for trial participation
- Maintain and update recruitment databases; support recruitment efforts, including patient outreach and follow-up calls
- Maintain accurate documentation, assist with source document preparation, and ensure proper handling and confidentiality of patient records
- Inform the PI/Sub-I of upcoming visits and communicate with CRCs regarding new appointments, events, and cancellations
- Manage office supplies and handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist with general administrative and site support tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Previous experience in a medical office, front desk, or clinical research setting preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills — you're the first face patients see
- Comfortable performing basic clinical tasks (vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy support); prior training or certification a plus
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities at once
- Comfortable working with confidential patient information and electronic medical records
- A team player who's proactive and dependable
